Detaching Process From Terminal Session

If you are looking to detach a process from your terminal session, you can try the following:

  1. Run your process: $ ./runme.sh

  2. Suspend your process, press "Ctrl+Z"

  3. Now send your process to the background: $ bg

Done, or at least that was all I had to do using Bash.
